Daniel Hinchliffe: Managing Director

Originally from Yorkshire, Daniel moved to London to study at the Royal Ballet School. He then worked extensively as a performer, in Theatre, TV and Film.

Daniel then read History at the University of London, gaining a First Class Honours Degree. He then began a career in the music industry at Sony Music.

In 2011 he set up Soundcheck PR, representing artists including Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion before launching the Soundcheck Agency in 2013.

In 2016 Soundcheck produced its first West End production, Murder Ballad at the Arts Theatre, which was nominated for both the Laurence Olivier Awards and the What’s on Stage Awards.

Ben McDougall: Agent

Originally from High Wycombe, Ben completed a Ba(Hons) in Performing Arts in East Anglia and worked as an actor for a couple of years, on stage and screen.

After getting married in 2000 he realised he wanted to move his attention to working in agencies and that is what he has done since, working at a variety of places.

Ben is a father of three, a festival organiser and football coach. He joined the Soundcheck Agency in April 2019.

Simon Pontin: Agent

Simon is from Southampton and studied Performing Arts at University College Winchester before training in Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music.

He worked as an actor, singer and actor musician for 15 years before deciding he preferred getting other people jobs and crossed over to being an agent.

Father of twins, Southampton FC fan and lover of beer.
